Within the scope of “Technical Assistance Project for the Development of the Digitalization and Creativity Ecosystem in Kütahya” (RAYSOP), co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye, implemented within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, of which Kütahya Municipality is the beneficiary and of which we are the executive partner as Planet-Türkiye, the kick-off meeting was held on June 20, 2023 with the participation of all stakeholders.
In this project; It is aimed to contribute to the socio-economic development of Kütahya by increasing the competitiveness of the creative industries sector. With the activities planned to be implemented in this context, it is aimed to take an important step in the digital transformation process of Kütahya and to increase the competitiveness of the region at the national and international levels. Deputy Governor Mustafa GÜNEY, Kütahya Mayor Prof. attended the meeting. Dr. Alim IŞIK, Kütahya Dumlupınar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan GÖÇMEZ, Survey Project Manager Mehmet ZENCİ and the project team, Kütahya Tile Makers, Photographers and Handicrafts Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen President Sadık ERILBAYLI, Zafer Development Agency Secretary General Veli OĞUZ, tile master İsmail YİĞİT, Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Salih Nafi ALIÇ and his team, T.R. Officials from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, General Directorate of EU and Foreign Relations, EU Financial Programs Department officials and consortium members participated in the meeting.
With this project, of which we are the executive partner as Planet-Türkiye, we will have a positive impact on Kütahya’s digitalization and creativity ecosystem and contribute to the socio-economic development of the city.
